Stoneham High School

Under contract with Consigli Construction, Milford MA
Construction of a new high school to replace the existing facility. Site work consisted of tree clearing, site cut-to-fill operations, blasting operations, ledge removal by mechanical means, processing of site materials for use as structural fill material.
MBI will also install all site utilities, including drainage, sewer, and water services. Work also includes asphalt paving and granite curbing. Interior work includes foundation excavation and backfill, interior utility excavation and backfill, slab grading and prep. Finish operations include sub-base preparation for the installation of multiple athletic fields and a sport track.
This project has a complex earthwork component that required the existing site ledge, blast rock and site demolition materials to be removed and processed in order to save the town the expense of exporting this material and saving the town roughly $600,000.
